Bio

Shadowmine is a 4 piece Modern Hard rock band out of Ottawa ,On Canada.

The band was originally started by Lead Vocalist Rock Brisebois  after leaving his prior band and tired of playing  covers. The intent was to write and record an album of full original material .

After a few false Starts due to unforeseen circumstances Brisebois recruited former band mate Sean Page (guitar) and the two would become the foundation for Shadowmine.

The duo  started to search for a full time bassist, who came in the form of Arnprior Native Chris Carr,  Chris had similar influences and his style Brought funk and groove to the already underway originals.

Brisebois, Page and Carr continued to write and tighten up the originals and also started pre production. It was time to find the backbeat of the project, the drummer.

In February 2018 the band found drummer and Sudbury native  Nicolas Grant.

Grant with his aggressive drum style , brought new energy to the band  and quickly blended in, it was a perfect fit.

After a long search, Shadowmine employed music engineer Cameron Dunn from Hillside Studios, where they began to record their debut album.

The First  Single  "Scapegoat" a mix of heavy groove  with a killer chorus that should  become instantly memorable , is set to arrive  November 14, 2018  with a second single to follow before years  end.
